Currently Enrolling Studies

Currently Enrolling Studies at Metabolic Research Institute include:

1. A clinical research study evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication in the treatment of people with obesity or overweight, with or without type 2 diabetes.

2. A clinical research study for men and women 18 years of age or older who have been diagnosed with Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD).

3. A clinical research trial evaluating the safety and effectiveness of the HEMOTAG CARDIOPULMONARY ASSESSMENT SYSTEM (CPAS) in identifying Heart Failure in individuals diagnosed with Diabetes.

4. A clinical research study evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for the treatment of individuals who are diagnosed with Graves’ Disease (Hyperthyroidism).

5. A clinical study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a new investigational long-acting insulin taken once weekly in controlling blood sugar in adults with type 1 diabetes.

6. Adults on insulin therapy who have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes for a minimum of 5 years.

7. A clinical research study for adults with Type 1 DM who are experiencing nocturnal hypoglycemia (low blood sugar levels at night).

Participation Details

There is no cost to participate in these research studies, and health insurance is not required.

Qualified participants will receive all study related examinations, lab tests and study medications at no cost. You may also be reimbursed for your time and travel.
