α7 and α9 selective nAChR antagonist

Biological Activity for α-Conotoxin ImI

Nicotinic receptor antagonist that displays selectivity for homomeric α 7 and α 9 receptors (IC 50 values are 220 and 1800 nM respectively). Displays no effect on α 2 β 2, α 3 β 2, α 4 β 2, α 2 β 4, α 3 β 3 and α 4 β 4 subunit combinations.
