Immunohistochemistry analysis of gp100 Melanoma Marker / PMEL antibody (clone MSVA-617R) in human normal and cancer tissue microarrays. FFPE tissue microarrays demonstrate strong HRP-DAB brown cytoplasmic staining in malignant melanoma samples, while the majority of non-melanocytic normal tissues and other tumor types show minimal to no specific staining. In normal skin, melanocytes exhibit expected positive staining, consistent with melanocytic lineage-restricted expression of PMEL. The observed staining pattern across normal and cancer tissues aligns with expression data reported in the Human Protein Atlas.
