  • Altitude≤1000m; VFD will be derated if above 1000m
  • Impingement and oscillation Normal running:<5.9m/s2 (0.6g); Transportation:<15m/s2 (1.5g)
  • Store environment–20℃~ +60℃; no dust, no corrosive gas, no direct sunlight

Tips: What are the reasons that will cause a VFD failure?

Dust and moisture on variable frequency drive (VFD) hardware because dust absorbs moisture which causes failure so it is better spraying air regularly into VFD. Spraying discharged compressed air is viable in normal environmental condition but the plant where air contains oil and water then it requires a non-static generating spray. 90% of the problems occur due to this dust, moisture and improper ventilation whereas 8 to 10% of problems occur due to field bus and power quality issues and remaining issues happens due to misapplications or assembly defects.

Air conditioning can be detrimental sometimes. High humidity air fills the conduit during the day, but at night the air conditioning can cause the water to condense, drip back into the VFD and accumulate on the PC boards. You should always leave the VFD powered up to keep the moisture out and keep the power supplies on to keep a small amount of heat in the cabinet.

Exceptional Speed Control and Torque Management

The VFD offers precise speed control with a 1:100 regulation ratio and maintains consistent performance, thanks to its ±0.5% speed control accuracy. The torque boost feature is particularly helpful for handling load variations efficiently.

Communication and Control

The RS485 communication capability is another significant advantage. It integrates seamlessly with my existing control systems, enabling remote monitoring and adjustments. This feature is particularly useful for automation purposes, where precise control over motor speed is crucial.
