Smart door lock refers to an improvement on the basis of traditional mechanical locks, which is more intelligent and convenient in terms of user safety, identification and management. Smart door locks are the executive components of door locks in access control systems.

PCB Types for Smart Door Locks

There are four types of PCBs for smart door locks, internal items, external items, switch items and antenna housings, all of which are made of FR-4 material, lead-free spray tin surface treatment, green solder mask, and white silk screen.

Internal PCB Specifications

The internal PCB board is 4 layers with blind holes, and the board size is 150mm*180mm. Other circuit boards are called external ones, which are similar in size and shape, but without blind holes.

Assembly and Wiring Process

For internal printed circuit boards, in addition to assembling components, it is necessary to solder springs, coils, flats. This requires horizontal welding and angle protection. After the four types of PCBs are all assembled components, they need to be connected with wires.

Wire Types and Connection

There are three types of wire: two-needle, three-needle and ten-needle. The ends of the wires are checked into the plastic housing. Each wire has a different color, which is convenient for customers to distinguish the two ends of the same wire according to the color. Then to secure these wires, we put heat shrink tubing through the wires.

Leave the same distance between the two ends of each wire, and the tightness of the heat shrinkable tube is required. If it is too tight, it will easily damage the wire, and if it is too loose, it will not have a fixed effect. Finally, connect the four types of PCB boards with finished wires.
