I purchased the 1.25 hp version to replace my Waste King unit. Installation was a breeze, everything fit perfectly, took about 45 minutes. I usually don’t buy warranties, but for $13, I bought the additional three years. Time will tell about the longevity of the unit, but it’s very quiet, and so far I am very happy.

This unit works fine right now however I’m not sure about longevity . I one we replaced was a much heavier and it lasted 10 years. This one is very light compared to it and has lots of plastic
