How to clear debris or a blockage in the Y Connector in your 3-in-1 Filtration Pulldown Faucet

Preparation

The water supply shut off valves must be turned off- see article How to Turn Off the Water Supply to the Faucet.

Recommended Tools: Needle Nose Pliers

The screen of the Y-Connector contains an internal screen that gathers debris and can become blocked causing a low flow situation. The information will provide detailed instructions on how to clean the screen.

Steps

Using Needle Nose Pliers gently pull the Fitting out from the Y-Connector (L). Next, remove the Screen and then insert it into a cup of water. Agitate the Screen by hand for 15 seconds then drain excess water from it.
Place the Screen into the Y-Connector (L).
Reinstall by Firmly pushing the Fitting Adapter back into the Y-Connector (L). Note: The screen must be reinstalled to prevent leaking.
Turn the water supply shut off valve back on. Turn the faucet on and check for any leaks.
