In 2010, after decades of designing kitchens professionally and cooking daily at home, it became clear that most sinks were designed to look good, not to work well. The industry focused on appearance. Rachiele® focused on function. That shift in thinking helped define the workstation sink category.
Today, every Rachiele® sink benefits from something most manufacturers cannot offer: direct collaboration with the person who designs them.

For over two decades, the metallurgical "experts" in the kitchen industry have repeated the same script: "You cannot fuse architectural brass directly to 316L surgical-grade stainless steel." They pointed to the vastly different melting points and the risk of warping or brittle joints. They said it couldn't be done reliably.
In 2022, we decided to ignore the "experts" and trust our own hands.

If, upon delivery and inspection, your sink does not meet the craftsmanship and quality standards outlined in your approved design, we will refund your investment in full, cover the return shipping, and send a $500 check for the inconvenience.
Deeply burnished brass 84" custom sink featuring dual drainboards and a center workstation bowl. Accessories will be able to slide up the drainboards directly from the internal ledges. A drop in version was selected for both beauty and to functionally eliminate the possibility of chipping the countertop while using the sink.

We offer two paths to ownership, but both share the same foundation: 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, proprietary MicroWelded™ corners, micro-polished craftsmanship, and the lifetime warranty and guarantee that define every sink that leaves our shop.
