Amylin (1-20), human is a fragment of Amylin. Amylin, islet Amyloid Polypeptide (IAPP), is a 37-residue peptide hormone secreted by pancreatic β-cells. It inhibits insulin-stimulated glucose uptake, delays gastric emptying and promotes satiety.
